Project: First Energy is one of the nation’s largest investor-owned electrical companies, serving over 6 million customers. 

To ensure reliable power distribution First Energy protected each of its 28 communication towers with a CMCE 120. These towers connect power generation and distribution centers. Each tower has a CMCE 120 mounted to the top to prevent direct lightning strikes.
