Project: Falcon’s Fury is a 335 ft. standing drop tower ride, also known as the Lightning Rod of Tampa, because it is the tallest metal structure in the city. In an environment such as Busch Gardens where customers expect rides to work consistently and safely, it was important for the Falcon’s Fury to experience less down time after storms. By installing two CMCE 120 Lightning Suppressors on the top of the tower, the ride has remained operational through multiple storms and hurricanes.
